CW5(Ret) James T. (Jim) White
Director, Region 5
Southeaster Region

CW5 (Ret) James T. (Jim) White retired after 37 years in service1 February 2006. He was elected National President of the United States Army Warrant Officers Association in October 2012. Prior to that, Jim served as National Vice President, Northeastern Region Director and founder/first President of Iron City Warrant Officers Chapter, Oakdale, PA. Currently, he is the Vice President of the Redstone Arsenal Silver Chapter, Huntsville, AL. Jim enlisted October 1968 as an Infantryman in the Mississippi Army National Guard. Received a Direct Appointment as a Warrant Officer One with the United States Army Reserve in November 1983 and was assigned as Military Personnel Technician with the 3390th USAR School, Jackson, MS. In addition he has held various assignments prior to retirement: Chief, Personnel Data Abstraction Branch, Office of the Secretary of the Army, Washington, DC; Repair Parts Technician, 55th Support Center, Fort Belvoir, VA with duty at Fort Pickett, VA; Military Personnel Technician, 98th Division (IT), Rochester, NY and 99th Regional Support Command, Oakdale, PA; USAR Research Analyst, with duty Army Development Systems (ADS XXI), assigned Office, Chief, Army Reserve, Arlington, VA; Guard and Reserve Manpower Manager, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Washington, DC; and Military Personnel Technician, 390th Personnel Group, Richmond, VA; Casualty Assistance Officer, Department of Defense, Fort Meade, MD. Jim currently resides in Helena, AL (Southeastern Region) with his spouse, Terry, retired Pennsylvania National Technician and MSG. We have twin sons; Charley – G.M.C. IT, Birmingham, AL and Art – Active Guard Reserve Supply Sergeant, Mississippi Army National Guard, Iuka, MS.

Region 5 Deputy Director
CW5 Michael (Mike) Theroux
Deputy Director, Region 5
Southeastern Region

CW5 Theroux was appointed in 2006 as a 915A Automotive Maintenance Technician. He has directly contributed back to the association by volunteering with the then “Fort Bragg Chapter”, Rhineland-Pfalz Silver Chapter, and the Aloha Silver Chapter. In 2016 along with 12 other WOs they re-established the former “Ft Meade Chapter” to the Chesapeake Bay Chapter. He has served in every chapter-level position (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer).
His Warrant Officer assignments include 7th SFG (A), 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command, Asymmetric Warfare Group, 25th Infantry Division, 8th Theater Sustainment Command and he currently serves at Ft. Liberty with the Army Special Operations Aviation Command.
